Abortion decisions have spiritual effects in the lives of those who make and those who influence the decisions |
There are more than a million abortions in our country every year.
Of the nearly 4,000 women who enter abortion facilities every day,
almost one in five describes herself as a committed believer.
Presbyterians Pro-Life is committed to helping churches establish ministries
that address the spiritual and emotional needs of men and women affected by abortion.
PPL announces new resource for abortion after-effects
Discovering Grace: Opportunities for congregations to minister to women and men affected by abortion decisions and to all those who have lost children before birth.
PPL is fully committed to the biblical teaching that there is no sin that God cannot forgive and no human being that God cannot restore to fellowship with himself. God implores us in his Word to come to him for the forgiveness he has provided through his Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Pro-life ministry in the Christian church is the ministry of the Gospel of our Lord.
It is out of our confidence in God’s forgiveness that PPL now offers a new resource called "Discovering Grace." It is a packet of materials to aid churches in developing ministries specifically for women and men who suffer from adverse effects of abortion and need the compassionate and restorative ministry of the gospel. The packet includes biblical and theological teaching that undergirds such a ministry along with suggestions for equipping and providing such ministry in our churches.
Suggested contribution: $9 -- Click to order this resource (under "Church Resources")

"What a wonderful God we have - - he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does he do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us. " (2 Cor. 1:3-4 TLB) |
